Voices for Children hosts a night under the stars

Voices for Children, together with event chairs Stacy and Joshua Kim, Jenny and Mike Kropko, Katie and Mike Nicoletti, and Jamie and David Oberto, hosted a night under the stars in support of children living in foster care and the transformative advocacy of Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers. This year marked Voices for Children’s 45th anniversary, celebrating more than four decades of unwavering dedication to San Diego County’s abused, abandoned, and neglected children. Since 1980, Voices for Children has remained the county’s sole authorized provider of CASAs and has grown into the largest CASA program in California and one of the largest in the nation. CBS 8 San Diego’s Neda Iranpour emceed the evening, which featured a cocktail reception, an inspiring program with powerful stories of impact, live auction, and a meaningful Fund-A-CASA opportunity. The celebration continued into the night with an energetic after-party and a live performance by Collective Music.
