The Vision of Children Foundation hosts A Night for Sight
Founded in 1991, The Vision of Children Foundation has been a driving force for research to find cures for rare genetic vision disorders
The Vision of Children Foundation hosted its flagship benefit concert, A Night for Sight, featuring legendary rock band Jefferson Starship to fund innovative research for rare genetic eye conditions. Under the guidance of event co-chairs Marian Benassi, Vivian Hardage, Courtney Liddy, Kirstjen Nielsen, and MJ Wittman, the event featured a cocktail reception, silent auction, opportunity drawing, hosted bar, curated three-course dinner, and live auction.
Founded in 1991, The Vision of Children Foundation has been a driving force for research to find cures for rare genetic vision disorders. Founders Sam and Vivian Hardage pioneered encouraging scientific inquiry into ocular albinism, a condition for which no treatments or cures were available at the time. Today, VOC funds cutting-edge research, including the When Vision Becomes Reality project led by Karl Wahlin, PhD, at the Shiley Eye Institute at UC San Diego Health.
