The San Diego Museum of Art was in full bloom when floral designers interpreted works of art and architecture into vibrant floral displays. For the first time in the 44 years of Art Alive, floral designers not only shared their botanical creations interpreting paintings, drawings, photography, and sculpture, but also created floral interpretations inspired by architecture. In addition to nearly 100 tabletop floral arrangements throughout the museum, the theme was brought to life in the two-story entry rotunda by 2025 Rotunda Designers Natasha Lisitsa and Daniel Schultz. In addition to the four-day floral exhibition, festivities also included the Museum’s creative black-tie gala, the Premiere Dinner; the tenth edition of Bloom Bash, the kick-off party for foodies and culturemakers; and the Garden of Activities, bringing hands-on art-making for artists of all ages to the museum’s sculpture garden.
