The New Children’s Museum Celebration

The New Children’s Museum celebrated two important milestones: 35 years in San Diego and the ten-year anniversary of the arts-based children’s museum downtown. The celebratory day included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which marked the official opening of artist Brian Dick’s No Rules…Except — a reprisal of his popular installation in the museum’s opening exhibition. The gathering was filled with creativity, including bouquets made of colorful socks for guests to wear when exploring the installation.
