At its 23rd annual Cool Women Celebration, Girl Scouts San Diego honored exemplary women whose personal and professional lives make them consummate role models for girls. During the luncheon and ceremony, five Cool Women shared the spotlight with 35 Emerging Leader Girl Scouts in grades 10-12 who were recognized for their outstanding achievements and potential. This year’s celebration honored Rashmi Char, Liza Crisafi, Norma Diaz, Kimberley Layton, and Deanna Mackey. Proceeds supported programs that empower Girl Scouts to use their voices, develop a strong sense of self, step outside their comfort zones, and build resilience.
