Susan G. Komen San Diego’s inaugural Impact Luncheon raised awareness about breast cancer while providing crucial resources for those undergoing treatment and navigating difficult times. The luncheon was hosted by Sam Zien (“Sam the Cooking Guy”) and his wife, Kelly, a breast cancer survivor, both of whom were honored at the event. The luncheon provided an intimate setting for board members, Susan G. Komen leadership, survivors, patient advocates, donors, and community advocates to connect and celebrate the shared mission of supporting those affected by breast cancer.
With over 43 years of dedication to the cause, Susan G. Komen has funded life-saving research and provided vital services to individuals facing breast cancer.
