Mainly Mozart Presented a Drive-In Concert
Members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic joined Mainly Mozart musicians for a drive-in concert at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
Members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic joined Mainly Mozart musicians for a drive-in concert in the Del Mar Fairgrounds East Dirt Lot on July 11. From the comfort and safety of their cars, attendees enjoyed a program that included Mozart’s “Divertimento in D Major” and Mendelssohn’s beloved “Octet.” Admission was free and offered to current Club Amadeus, Adopt-an-Artist, and Maestro Society members as well as 2020 series subscribers. Attendance was then opened up to the public. The mission of Mainly Mozart is to enrich the lives of music lovers by connecting them to the genius and innovation of Mozart and the Masters, to world-class musicians, and music-making, and to each other.
