PCI and Global Communities celebrate merger at the Hands Across Borders Annual Gala

PCI and Global Communities celebrated their merger and 70 years of impact at the Hands Across Borders Annual Gala. Global Communities, formerly PCI, is a nonprofit leader in sustainable development, humanitarian assistance, and financial inclusion reaching people in San Diego and around the world to implement programs that improve access to health services, nutritious food, clean water, education, economic opportunity, and disaster response. The gala, co-chaired by Haida Mojdehi and Mary Lynn and Larry Weitzen, honored Valerie Jacobs Hapke and Norm Hapke, Eric Sanders, and UBS Optimus Foundation for their support of Global Communities’ mission.
