Meals on Wheels San Diego County presents “Rio Carnival: A Samba Soirée’’

Meals on Wheels San Diego County brought supporters together to dance the night away at its “Rio Carnival: A Samba Soirée’’ gala to raise funds to continue its mission of delivering nutritious meals and emotional support to thousands of seniors and disabled veterans, seven days a week, rain or shine. The evening began with a silent auction and reception featuring the audience-favorite Chef Appetizer Showcase. This year’s chefs included Drew Deckman of Deckman’s en el Mogor, Brad Wise of Trust Restaurant Group, John King of The Prado Restaurant, and more. Following the reception was a three-course sit-down dinner and live auction.
