Las Patronas hosts new member reception and unveils theme for 75th Anniversary Jewel Ball

At a fall reception, Las Patronas announced the addition of four new members: Carol Gasaway, Mia Kelly, Colleen Lighter, and Nahal Panahmand Mirkarimi. Each will serve a six-year active membership in Las Patronas. The philanthropic organization also revealed the $941,562.01 fundraising success of the 74th Jewel Ball, “20/20 Spectacular,” which took place in a virtual format. Proceeds will fund critically needed capital items for nine nonprofit major beneficiaries, each receiving between $26,000 and $59,000, as well as an estimated 35-45 additional minor beneficiaries, each receiving up to $20,000. The organization also unveiled the theme for the 75th Anniversary Jewel Ball, “Diamonds Are Forever,” set to take place on August 7, 2021.
