Las Patronas’ 73rd Jewel Ball: Wonderland took guests down a rabbit hole to discover a world of fanciful flowers, giant mushrooms, and enchanting butterflies while sipping specialty cocktails and sampling delectable hors d’oeuvres. An al fresco garden tea party featured cuisine by BTS Catering and dancing to the music of Wayne Foster Entertainment. Proceeds funded grants to the following major beneficiaries: Adaptive Sports and Recreation Association, Alpha Project for the Homeless, American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego, Family Health Centers of San Diego, La Maestra Family Clinic, Outside the Lens, Rady Children’s Hospital, and San Diego Fire Rescue Foundation. Jewel Ball chair was Nicole Velazquez; Las Patronas president is Michelle Wiseman.
