Girl Scouts San Diego’s Cool Women Celebration honors exemplary leaders from San Diego

Since 2001, Girl Scouts San Diego’s Cool Women Celebration has honored more than 200 exemplary leaders from San Diego and beyond for their positive contributions to the development of girls and women.  This year’s event honored five local female leaders and honored 53 Emerging Leader Girl Scouts in grades 10-12. The Cool Women of 2025 included Julie Dubick, Tina M. King, Luisa McCarthy, Debbie Rider, and Nancy Sasaki. Event co-chairs were Natasha Bowman and Joyce Gattas.
