For 113 years, the Charity Ball has brought together community leaders and supporters for a night of unforgettable elegance and entertainment. Charity Ball is celebrated as San Diego’s oldest and grandest philanthropic event, and since 1954, it has exclusively benefited Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. This year, proceeds from the ball, which took place at Hotel del Coronado and was themed “The Power of Love,” benefited the new Neuroscience Institute at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.
The Rady Children’s Neuroscience Institute interconnects a wide range of leading healthcare professionals in neurological specialties and subspecialties to provide multidisciplinary care, helping to make powerful strides in the diagnosis and treatment of infants, children, and adolescents with neurological conditions and injuries of the brain, spinal cord, and neuromuscular system. The black tie event presented a dazzling night of celebration and support as guests dined, danced, and toasted to the elegant tradition of the Charity Ball. Ball chair was Vicki Eddy; co-chair was Lisa Vieira.
