Encinitas Garden Festival

On Saturday, April 18, from 10am-4:30pm, the ten-year anniversary of the Encinitas Garden Festival features a self-guided walking tour of more than 15 private gardens showcasing mature coastal landscapes, eclectic plant collections, edible landscapes, and more. Tour each garden at your own pace, enjoying the scenery and gathering ideas for your own outdoor spaces. A gardener’s marketplace will feature vendors offering succulents, flowering plants, natives, vegetable seedlings, garden art, food, birdhouses, and more. Guest speakers will cover topics such as home orchards, bee keeping, and berries in the garden. The marketplace is free and open to the public; admission to the gardens is by ticket.  (www.encinitasgardenfestival.org)
