Vavavida, a San Diego-based e-tailer of fair trade jewelry, sells accessories that are not only stylish but sustainable, ethically made, and eco-friendly. The company’s Web site offers everything from Peruvian leather stone cuffs to totes fashioned from upcycled saris, feather-and-bone-earrings to Bollywood bracelets, all at reasonable prices. Founded by Antoine Didienne and two partners in 2012, Vavavida buys accessories from co-ops of artisans in developing countries that adhere to fair trade principles.
