The 19th Annual La Jolla Concours d’Elegance, presented by LPL Financial, returns April 25 to 27 with a stunning celebration of automotive history and artistry. This year’s theme, “Mascots in Motion,” pays tribute to the exquisite hood ornaments that have symbolized luxury, innovation, and elegance for over a century. Adding to the excitement, the 2025 event will honor Lincoln Motor Company’s centennial and showcase a special class dedicated to the iconic hot rod era. Car enthusiasts and art lovers alike can look forward to a weekend filled with remarkable vehicles and unforgettable stories that highlight the creativity and legacy of automotive culture.

The Legacy of Automotive Mascots

This year’s theme shines a spotlight on the rich history of automotive mascots — the iconic hood ornaments that servd as both functional and decorative symbols of an era. From Rolls-Royce’s “Spirit of Ecstasy,” embodying grace and luxury, to Cadillac’s elegant “Goddess,” these mascots capture the spirit and aspirations of the brands they represent. The Concours will also feature legendary designs such as the Pontiac Indian and Pierce-Arrow Woman, exploring their evolution from practical innovations to revered collector’s items.

Spotlighting Lincoln Motor Company’s Centennial Anniversary

As the La Jolla Concours commemorates its 19th anniversary, it also honors Lincoln Motor Company’s 100th year of elegance and innovation. A special class dedicated to Lincoln’s finest automobiles will showcase the craftsmanship and legacy of this iconic brand, which was previously featured at the La Jolla Concours in 2017. Lincoln’s centennial display will feature vintage classics from 1920 to 1940 that define the brand’s storied history.

Introducing Iconic Hot Rods

For 2025, the Concours expands its scope with a thrilling new class: Iconic American Hot Rods (1928–1941). This class celebrates the golden age of hot rodding, born out of ingenuity and post-war creativity. Featuring modified Ford Model A, B, and T cars with hallmark innovations like the legendary Ford Flathead V8 engine, these custom vehicles reflect a vibrant and distinctly American automotive culture.
