Tu B’Shvat Food Forest Festival
Coastal Roots Farm, a nonprofit Jewish community farm and education center in Encinitas, welcomes community members of all backgrounds to celebrate the magic and meaning of trees during its 10th Annual Tu B’Shvat Food Forest Festival, taking place from 12 to 4pm.
Step into the Farm’s vibrant Food Forest and enjoy live music, delicious local food and drink, Jewish learning and crafts, yoga, and opportunities to dig into the soil and nurture the land. Rooted in Jewish tradition, Tu B’Shvat is known as the New Year, or Birthday of the Trees, and honors the vital role trees play in our lives. Tickets are a suggested donation of $20 for adults and $10 for children. All donations fund the Farm’s year-round impact Nourishing Community. Pre-registration is required.
