Since 1909, the volunteer-organized Charity Ball has brought the community together for one dazzling night featuring a lavish formal dinner followed by lively entertainment and dancing to support children’s health.

The mission has evolved to advancing and elevating the world-class pediatric healthcare at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, Charity Ball’s beneficiary since 1954. Chaired by Bridgett Brown, Starry Night will support Rady Children’s Palliative Care Program for children facing serious and life-limiting illnesses throughout the journey of complex, long-term care. The community is invited to be part of San Diego’s oldest and grandest philanthropic celebration.
