Center for Community Solutions will welcome activist, Nobel Peace Prize nominee, and The New York Times best-selling author Amanda Nguyen as the speaker at its 26th Annual Tea & Tonic fundraising event.

A survivor of sexual assault in 2013 when she was an astrophysics student at Harvard, Nguyen is now an advocate for survivors and just became the first Vietnamese woman to go to space when she flew aboard the New Shepard rocket at the Blue Origin launch. Tea & Tonic’s inspiring afternoon brings together business, philanthropic, and community leaders in support of survivors of relationship and sexual violence. All proceeds benefit the free, life-saving programs and services offered by CCS, including a 24/7 confidential crisis hotline, four domestic violence shelter programs, counseling, legal services, prevention education, and more.
