Swing Fore Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego

Swing Fore Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego is an annual charity golf tournament created to do two things: raise money for underfunded patient care at Rady’s and help military veterans transitioning to the civilian workforce.

It is the one and only event held each year by Becky’s Way, an organization founded by Eric Neilsen in honor of his late mother, Becky Armstrong, who died of uterine cancer in 2014.

Taking place at Twin Oaks Golf Course on October 13, Swing Fore Rady Children’s Hospital falls on a very special day in the nation’s history — the Navy’s birthday — and there will be lots of birthday cake, as well as a color guard, military-themed outfits, and veteran celebrations.

The festivities will include a shotgun start tournament with surprises, dinner, a silent auction, and both first- and last-place awards. Becky’s Way even offers a Charity Challenge to help businesses find the money to get involved.
