Presented by the Del Mar Historical Society, the inaugural Surf Del Mar Festival celebrates the sport, culture, and rich surfing heritage of Del Mar and the surrounding communities with four days of films, live music, art, photography, author talks, panel discussions, historical exhibits, and special gatherings featuring legendary surfers, storytellers, artists, and filmmakers.

More than a festival, the event is designed as a reunion that brings together generations of the surfing community while preserving the stories and spirit that have shaped Del Mar’s iconic coastal lifestyle.
