SuperAgers: A Be Brain Powerful Event
The Alzheimer’s community will unite for SuperAgers: A Be Brain Powerful Event, hosted by the U.S. BrainTrust of UsAgainstAlzheimer’s Women’s Leadership Council.
The evening’s program will feature a fireside chat with Dr. Eric Topol, noted cardiologist, founder and director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute, and The New York Times bestselling author. The second fireside chat, guided by award-winning journalist Meryl Comer, will bring together Emma Willis and Mary Lou Falcone, who will discuss dementia from a caregivers’ perspective. The event is led by host committee chair Muffy Walker, alongside a dedicated committee of San Diego-based and national community leaders committed to advancing brain health: Christine Aylward, Meryl Comer, Nicole Frank, Betsy Gleijeses, Candise Holmlund, Kristy Johnson, Kelli Karches, Sandy Morgan, Robin Nordhoff, Yanina Odin, Lisa Parnall, Ann Reed, Raquel Rogers, Karen Segal, Karen Tanz, Maggie Watkins, and Wendy Walker. Honorary co-chairs include world renowned soprano Renée Fleming, actress/singer Mandy Moore, and acclaimed actor David Hyde Pierce.
