Sunshine Gala

Get ready to rock wearing your bling and platform shoes at this year’s Serving Seniors Sunshine Gala as you rock along with Remember When Rock Was Young: The Elton John Experience to help the nonprofit continue to carry out its accomplishments in serving low-income and homeless older adults.

The party kicks off on the Hilton’s oceanfront patio where guests will enjoy an outdoor reception and fun interactive stations, followed by a gourmet dinner presented by Hilton’s talented new Executive Chef Ramses Walker. This highly anticipated event has an expected attendance of over 400 community partners, philanthropists, and business owners. Major event sponsors include Darlene Marcos Shiley, Neal and Marge Schmale, and Qualcomm. Two in five older adults in San Diego County cannot afford basic rent, food, transportation, or healthcare. Through community support including this year’s Sunshine Gala, Serving Seniors can help meet these needs.
