34th Annual Spring Fling

In its 34th year, Helen Woodward Animal Center’s elegant Spring Fling Gala, presented by Portia Metras Realtor Coldwell Banker, is actually celebrating another special anniversary — the 50th year since the center’s founding.

The gala is highlighting that special landmark in its theme, “The Golden Age of Hollywood,” which is headed by committee co-chairs Jamie Carr and Mary Russo-Cuzens and will be emceed by KUSI’s Mark Mathis. Guests will stroll through Tinsel Town streets complete with classic character impersonators, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction of exquisite one-of-a-kind items. Keeping up with tradition, committee restaurant chair Ann Dizney has secured an impressive restaurant lineup including Blue Water Grill, Dolce, Beeside Balcony, The Fish Market, Poseidon, and 067 Eatery, to name a few.

Following dinner, guests will delight in sweet treats, local beer, wine, and spirits while enjoying live entertainment by Haute Chili and a rousing live auction.
