Red, White and Blue on the Runway
Join the Women’s Museum of California for a fundraising luncheon featuring Dr. Kimberly Chrisman-Campbell, author of Red, White, and Blue on the Runway: The 1968 White House Fashion Show and the Politics of American Style.
A noted scholar, speaker, and Biography Channel expert, Chrisman-Campbell will sign copies of her book after the talk. The event begins at 11am with a reception and silent auction of Madame Alexander dolls depicting First Ladies, followed by the noon luncheon and presentation. Guests are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. Patriotic floral arrangements, generously donated by Rancho Santa Fe’s Lollia Blooms, will be available for purchase. Event tickets are $125. The museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the past and inspiring the future with the stories of women making a difference in our community.
