The Mitchell Thorp Foundation presents its inaugural Par For A Purpose golf tournament.

Since its inception in 2009, the foundation, established in memory of Mitchell Thorp, who bravely battled an intractable undiagnosed disease, has been a beacon of hope for families whose children are battling life-threatening illnesses, diseases, and disorders, by providing financial assistance, emotional support, and vital resources. “Over the past 15 years we are happy to say that the foundation has given back over five million dollars to children and families in medical crisis. One-hundred percent of the net golf tournament proceeds will go to help children and families through our programs: Medical and Home Assistance, Healing & Rehabilitation, Triumph Together Sports Experiences, Wheelchair Conversion Vans and our Youth Leadership Council, that help children fight for their tomorrows,” says Brad Thorp, CEO. The golf tournament promises a day filled with camaraderie and friendly competition. After the tournament, a banquet and awards ceremony will feature dinner, DJ music and live entertainment, and live and silent auctions.
