National Conflict Resolution Center Nationwide Discussion on Race
The National Conflict Resolution Center will bring leading authors, scholars, and journalists together for a national online conversation about race in America and bridging our country’s political divide. The “A Path Forward” virtual event from 7-8:15pm will feature an engaging discussion with two New York Times #1 bestselling authors and leading national scholars: Ibram X. Kendi and Robin DiAngelo. Wesley Lowery, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist at CBS News, will moderate. The event will also include a virtual “raise-the-paddle” fundraising activity, a series of dialogues, and communication training to address racism and intolerance by bridging divides and creating a more equitable society. Malin Burnham is honorary chair; the host committee includes Carol and Jeff Chang, the Jaffe family, Sue Kalish, Judy McDonald, Ann Navarra, Claire Reiss, Dorian and Bill Sailer, and Karen and Jeff Silberman.
