Melissa Chandon: Paintings
Eight recent works featuring slices of classic imagery evoking nostalgic scenes of enduring Americana will be on view at the La Jolla gallery.
With a style self-described as “naive, slightly cubist with strong color confrontations and a very surprising approach to perspective” and “optimistic and intriguing minimalism with a strong touch of romanticism,” Chandon’s work is often noted for her clean, “less is more” aesthetic. A reception for the artist will be held at the gallery on February 3 from 3 to 5pm.
