This Playhouse season opener and world premiere from award-winning playwright, professor, actor, and author Anna Deavere Smith is the triumphant story of the rise of sports icon and social justice pioneer Billie Jean King.

A trailblazer for equality, King faced tough competition on the court and adversity in the world, all against a backdrop of the massive social changes of the 1960s and ’70s. Directed by Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) with Chilina Kennedy in the lead role as King, Love All evokes the highs and lows of King’s extraordinary career, and asks not just what it takes to be a champion, but what it takes to change the course of history.
