As part of its Centennial celebration, The San Diego Museum of Art presents Local Visions: Reimagining the Façade, a landmark exhibition showcasing San Diego-area artists and their reimagined visions of the museum’s iconic Spanish Colonial Revival façade in Balboa Park.

Selected through an open call, ten local artists explore the façade as a canvas for storytelling, identity, and the future of the city’s cultural landscape. Three artists — Lori Mitchell, Tim Novara, and Wagner Humphreys — are recognized as official Centennial Artist Honorees. Celebrating creativity, community, and SDMA’s 100-year legacy, the exhibition looks ahead to the museum’s next century.
