K9 Soiree

For the past 18 years, every police service dog at the San Diego Police Department has been purchased with funds donated by community members through the San Diego Police Foundation.

The Police Foundation is calling on the community to put new K9 crimefighters on the case, because while police dogs may be tan, black, or sable, all of them are “true blue.” The program will include a keynote from Chief of Police David Nisleit.

For the first time ever, SDPD will be awarding the prestigious Purple Heart award to police service dog Titan, who was injured in the line of duty earlier this year.
