Ecolife Conservation’s 21st Annual Gala
Ecolife Conservation will celebrate the “Magic and Mysticism of Mexico” and its conservation successes in that country’s monarch butterfly forest at its 21st annual gala.
Guests will enjoy Oaxacan cuisine prepared by Chef José Cepeda and his team at the Lafayette’s restaurant, Quixote. Entertainment will include the close-up magic of Greg Wilson and dancing to the music of Ruby and the Red Hots. There will be both live and silent auctions, and guests will also have the opportunity to meet and hear from Brenlu Pineda, who grew up in rural Mexico and knows firsthand the challenges that Ecolife addresses. The nonprofit was founded in 2003 by San Diego native, Bill Toone, renowned for his high-profile role in the recovery of the California condor during the 1980s.
