Theatre of the imagination is coming to The Old Globe. Just as earlier generations listened to programs on the radio and used their imaginations to bring stories to life, so it will be with the Grinch.

This year, KPBS radio, 89.5 FM will present Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! On the Radio for all to enjoy. It may also be accessed on the KPBS website and app and on smart speakers. This free recorded audio play will air three times this month, marking the Globe’s 23rd annual Grinch production.

Three popular actors, Edward Watts as the Grinch, Tommy Martinez as Young Max, and John Treacy Egan as Old Max, return to join a terrific cast, with old and new Whos, too. James Vasquez is back as director.    DARLENE G. DAVIES
