Baseball is Back at Petco Park

Things were a little unsure there for a bit (99 days, to be exact), but the 2022 MLB season is back on.

Though the Friars will kick things off on the road, they’ll make their triumphant debut on home turf when the 2022 Home Opener rallies Padres fans for a thrilling bout with the reigning World Series Champion Atlanta Braves.

The four-game series will be highlighted by various experiences throughout the weekend, culminating with the Padres Opening Series Hat giveaway presented by Sycuan Casino Resort on Sunday, April 17 (available to the first 35,000 fans in attendance), which is also Military Opening Day. Active duty service members, veterans, and their families receive 25 percent off tickets.
