Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation Discovery Gala 2024

Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation’s Discovery Gala, themed “Lagoon’s Eleven,” will take place from 5:30 to 10pm.

The event, presented by NRG, will begin with a Rat Pack-style happy hour featuring vocalists Celeste Barbier and Roman Palacio. A delectable three-course dinner will be served at 7pm followed by a live auction. After the live auction, the “Royal Flush Casino” will open featuring three-hand Poker, Roulette, Blackjack tables, and more. Prizes will be given for the winners at the gaming tables. Guests can also choose to dance the night away to iDJ.  The gala will be emceed by Neda Iranpour, morning news anchor on CBS 8 San Diego and the CW San Diego. This year’s honoree, Margie Newell, will be recognized in an informative program honoring her longtime support of the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation and its educational programs before, during, and after covid. Individual tickets are $275 or $260 for members and $2,500 for a table of ten (non-members) or $2,300 for members. Proceeds will provide continued support of the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation’s award-winning STEAM marine and wetland environmental educational program, and conservation of the lagoon trails and Raptor Ridge.
