2026 GEM Awards

The Coronado Historical Association invites the community to its most anticipated event of the year — the 2026 GEM (Going the Extra Mile) Awards, celebrating the homeowners and preservationists who help protect Coronado’s historic character and charm.

This special evening honors individuals who have gone the “extra mile” to restore, preserve, or promote the city’s unique architectural heritage. Established in 2013, the GEM Awards recognize outstanding efforts ranging from Victorian restorations to the preservation of mid-century modern landmarks.
