15th Annual Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro
The world’s top professional female surfers — including members of the first-ever USA Olympic Surfing Team — will be back in Oceanside for the 15th annual Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro, a World Surf League (WSL) Women’s Qualifying Series (QS).
Pro surfers including Carissa Moore, Caroline Marks, Sage Erickson, Tatiana Weston-Webb, Tia Blanco and former local champs Caitlin Simmers and Samantha Sibley are expected to compete.
The free, family-friendly three-day event will be jam-packed with world-class surfing competition and entertainment, including 20 live concerts, a festival village, celebrity surf invitational, extended adaptive surfing event, annual Super Girl Gamer Pro esports tournament, Super Girl Skate Pro skateboarding contest, women’s beach soccer, free classes, speakers, and art and panel discussions promoting female empowerment.
In addition to world-class surfing, the event features an action-packed Festival Village with 18 live concerts and family-friendly activities; the annual Super Girl Gamer Series esports tournaments; an all-female DJ Competition; a women’s adaptive surf contest; a women’s longboarding competition; women’s beach soccer; free fitness & self-defense classes; celebrity speakers; panel discussions promoting female leadership and sustainability; beer garden and food court; plus a mentorship event for young surfers with 4-time World Champion Carissa Moore and her Moore Aloha Foundation.
