This fun, whimsical event challenges teams of local designers and architects to start with a basic unfinished children’s table and two chairs, then deconstruct, rebuild, and add to them to create delightful play areas for children. This year’s theme of “Boho Bash” has resulted in imaginative designs including a tent, a VW bus, a teepee, and more. Tables are awarded to event sponsors, who may then keep the table or donate it to their chosen local charity. Money raised helps the Ronald McDonald House provide a “home-away-from-home” to families during their children’s treatment at local hospitals. Winners will be announced at the Tables for Tots celebration, which takes place from 6-9pm at Francis Parker School. Tickets include table viewing, food, beverages, and music. tablesfortots.com
