Meals on Wheels San Diego County hosts annual gala — virtually

Meals on Wheels San Diego County invites San Diegans to its “Cheers to 60 Years” Gala from 6-7pm. This year, Meals on Wheels San Diego is taking its 2020 gala online with a party-infused virtual fundraiser with special guest speakers and performing artists. The way things are done may have changed, but the goal remains the same: to raise critical funds to support the independence and well-being of more than 3,200 homebound seniors in San Diego County. Meals on Wheels San Diego County is looking to outdo last year’s fundraiser gala by raising $300,000 for these seniors. The gala is sure to be an hour of action-packed fun as there will be silent and live auctions by renowned auctioneer Clint Bell, along with some planned and surprise entertainment including a performance by Daniel Delacruz, better known as (DeLa), saxophonist for the notable band Slightly Stoopid.
