10,000 Maniacs Benefit Concert

Summit for Stem Cell Foundation presents multi-platinum-selling band 10,000 Maniacs to fund Parkinson’s disease treatment research at The Scripps Research Institute. The concert under the stars will support the nonprofit’s vision to bring to market an efficacious and safe induced pluripotent stem cell-based therapy for Parkinson’s patients. Summit is seeking to raise $8 million to complete the studies needed by the FDA and to begin clinical trials by 2019. At the benefit concert, guests will enjoy dinner catered by Chef Jeffrey Strauss of Pamplemousse Grille; prepared picnic dinner boxes are also available. Ticket prices range from $25 for lawn seating to a $10,000 table sponsorship for eight guests.
