The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation welcomes back its annual Grand Chef Throwdown, highlighting the talents of more than 25 chefs from San Diego and Baja.
The progressive evening will bring together a Culinary Council of celebrity top chefs, food critics, and San Diego personalities who will take on the task of awarding the Chef Flor Franco Awards for Culinary Excellence based on specific criteria for each dish. The Bernard L. Lewis Humanitarian Award will be presented to Wendy and Mike Remington and Angie and Devin Fitzmaurice for their years of service and volunteering with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Master of ceremonies is five-time Emmy Award-winning journalist at NBC Telemundo Tania Luviano.
