International conservation group Wildcoast hosted the Baja Bash to raise awareness and funds for its ocean conservation and climate action programs. The event also supported Wildcoast’s programs to preserve wild coastlines and wildlife in Baja. At a private Solana Beach estate overlooking the lagoon and coast, guests celebrated Wildcoast’s high impact conservation work in Mexico and California. The event featured gourmet food stations with San Diego’s top sustainable chefs: JoJo Ruiz (Lionfish, Serea, Temaki), Brad Wise (Rare Society), Kelli Crosson (The Lodge at Torrey Pines), Marissa Williams and Carlo Guardado (Herb & Sea), Greg Frey Jr. (Golden Door and Golden Door Country Store), and Aly Lang (George’s at the Cove). The highly curated epicurean affair also featured fresh Baja oysters, seafood from Pure Fish, Solento Tequila, Local Roots Kombucha, live music, and more.
