Ranch & Coast Magazine’s inaugural Pickleball with a Purpose charity benefited local nonprofit GenerateHope, which helps survivors of sex trafficking to heal and find restoration in long-term housing and trauma-informed therapy, education, and vocational support. The festivities at Bobby Riggs Racket & Paddle in Encinitas featured pickleball play, pro and celebrity exhibition matches, live music by Echophonic, a silent auction, and signature dishes and sips from culinary partners including Snake Oil Cocktail Company, Trust Me Vodka, Ricava Tequila, Old Forester, AleSmith Brewing Company, Local Roots Kombucha, Kové Hard Yerba Mate, Improv Booze-Free Cocktails, Best Day Brewing, Organifi, Goodonya, Adelaide at L’Auberge Del Mar, Beeside Balcony, Lobster West, Ranch 45, Nico’s Fish Market, GP Diner, Broad Street Dough Co., and Cookie Guru. Attendees also shopped amid vendor partners Nicole Miller San Diego, PickleBelle, Civile, Ring Thing, and Cavu Sports, with a portion of proceeds benefiting GenerateHope. Event partners included the Jason Barry Team of Barry Estates, Aetna, Aston Martin San Diego, and Bobby Riggs Racket & Paddle. In total, approximately $34,000 was raised to support GenerateHope.
