A reception was held to celebrate the opening of local artist Remington Weinger’s pop-up gallery at La Plaza La Jolla. Weinger’s paintings and photography draw from vivid hues of San Diego and her global travels. Inspired by light, movement, surprising color combinations, social interaction, patterns, and drips, she forms abstracted, pixelated compositions. Most days, Weinger paints in the natural light in the corner of Remington Art Gallery.
