Aventine Art A La Carte

Published

UPDATE: Due to rain in the forecast, “Art a La Carte” at the Aventine has been cancelled for today. Rain on artwork is never a good thing. They’ll keep everyone posted on Facebook and by email as they reschedule soon. Head to the Aventine restaurants in any case tonight, as Happy Hour pricing will be in effect all night beginning at 5pm.

Indulge in San Diego’s thriving fine art and dining scene at “Art a la Carte” at the Aventine this Sunday, May 5, from 5-8pm. The series of pop-up art events, produced in partnership with ArtWalk San Diego, takes place the first Sunday of each month. This month’s installment will offer an intimate, street festival-inspired event showcasing the work of noted local artists, performers, and musicians including Michael Sussna, Jon Koehler, Pete Tillack, David Weimers, Mark Jesinoski, and Norm Daniels. Stroll along the Aventine’s “restaurant row,” take in the evening’s exciting sights and sounds, and stop into Fleming’s, Truluck’s, The Melting Pot, and Cafe Japengo to enjoy happy hour all night.
