Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA presented its 29th Poinsettia Ball

The Poinsettia Ball celebrated its 29th year of black tie festivities to benefit North County Coastal youth, families, and seniors in need. The event, planned by the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA and The Paul Ecke, Jr. Poinsettia Ball Committee, included an honorary toast for Paul Ecke, Jr.’s birthday. Paul was a founding member of the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA, which was later named in honor of his mother. The gala’s namesake followed Paul’s passing in 2002 and is an annual tradition of continuing his spirit for supporting the community. The 2019 event date coincided with what would have been his 94th birthday. Guests experienced holiday merriment while enjoying fine cuisine by Culinary Concepts, dancing and live entertainment by NRG Music & Productions, and bidding on luxurious auction items.
