Estancia La Jolla has partnered with One Love Movement and Mint Studio in an effort to challenge guests and the community to rethink the “month of love” to include self-love, love for others, love for the present moment, and love for the journey. On February 3, from 3-5pm, the resort will present an inspiring afternoon that will include One Love Movement founder Kim Bauman and business manager Priscilla Luckhurst, who will host a speaking session on their San Diego-based nonprofit that advocates for children who don’t have a voice to share themselves. Additionally, the first heart will be painted on an interactive love-inspired mural that will be displayed just outside the restaurant. The San Diego Museum of Art presents its pre-Valentine’s Day edition of Culture & Cocktails, themed “Flight of Love” after the exhibition Bouguereau & America. The popular after-hours event returns on Thursday, February 13, from 6-10pm.
