The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank’s annual Chefs, Cork & Craft Gala is themed “A Seaside Soiree,” and will celebrate our region’s relationship with the California coast and the talent of the county’s best chefs. Chef committee chair, Chef Sara Polczynski of Seasoned Plates, will lead the team of 30 chefs during the dinner service. Each table of ten guests will be assigned a personal chef for the evening who will prepare a multi-course dinner of signature dishes. The event will include live music by The Fremonts and The Sleepwalkers, amazing silent and live auction items, and the gala’s now famous cocktail lounge in the Food Bank’s walk-in refrigeration unit. Proceeds will support critical hunger-relief programs including the Food 4 Kids Backpack Program. Co-chairs are Jeannie Johnson Bolinger and Cheryl Floros. sandiegofoodbank.org/gala
