For nearly 30 years, Valerie Lee Ferrari has dressed San Diego’s stylish at her Le Bel Age Boutique in Mission Hills. She now has a more sophisticated “big sister” boutique, Chateau Bel Age, just across the street. It’s a multi-level event space, complete with a fireplace and courtyard for birthday parties, charity fundraisers, styling events, and girls’ nights out. Ferrari is known not just for fashion, but decorating the West Lewis Shopping District for Halloween. “Halloween in the Hills” is set for October 11 from 6-9pm in the 1600 block of West Lewis, with live music, food trucks, tricks and treats, and shopping, of course.
