More than 340 supporters of Voices for Children gathered at the San Diego Polo Club in Rancho Santa Fe for the 12th annual Starry Starry Night gala benefiting Voices for Children and its CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) program. The gala grossed a record $1.35 million, and the $1.1 million net income raised will allow Voices for Children to recruit, train, and supervise 400 more volunteer CASAs to work directly with foster children and ensure their needs are met in the courtroom, classroom, and community. This year, Voices for Children and its 1,500 CASAs will advocate for 2,400 children living in foster care in San Diego County. Co-chairs were Jennifer and Richard Greenfield and Haeyoung Kong Tang.
